What Causes Ringworm?

There are millions of fungi and bacteria that are harmful and useful within our bodies. A portion of them benefit our bodies, while others set up infections. 

Being aware of what causes humans to get a ringworm helps to protect or treat another person from getting one. 

The main reason a ringworm might appear is due to various microscopic organisms. These organisms connect with a group that lives on the external layer of you skin, known as “Dermatophytes.” 

The fungus of a ringworm enjoys thriving on a moist, worm area such as your feet, groin, or underarms. The ringworm enters into your body by a cut, scratch, or broken place on your skin. 

A ringworm can be spread by numerous ways such as; 

- Animal to a human;

- Person to another person;

-  Object to a human;

- Soil to a person;

A person can get a ringworm in various places that contain a damp surface, where the fungus can live.
