Is Hyperhidrosis a Fungal Infection?

Hyperhidrosis does not start out as a fungal infection but the patient with it has a higher chance of getting a fungal infection. New studies show that the impact caused from Hyperhidrosis can make the body develop a weaker immune system. The most common infections that patients can get is viral, fungal or either a bacterial infection. In order to stop these infections from coming prevention is needed.

Prevention Tips For Hyperhidrosis:

- Socks should be changed once a day.
- Wear wool from small fiber or either socks that are made from acrylic blends.
- Use antiperspirants
- Get some black tea water and soak your feet in them for at least 30 minutes and do it to 7-10 days.
- Going barefoot some can help with airing feet.

Patients with Hyperhidrosis are encouraged to talk with doctors for further prevention and treatment tips so it won't turn into a fungal infection. When Hyperhidrosis is turned into a fungal infection it can create serious problems and take a few weeks before it heals.
