Sometimes you can get infections in your nails and toenails and you can get them in more then one place because of the fungus that happens from the fungi that can spread and infect your nails. These type of infections are called nail fungus.

Yellow or white spots start appearing right underneath the tips of your toenail and or fingernail. Once the fungus starts to really spread it might change the color of the nail and cause it to be a discolor. The edges will develop and thicken causing them to crumble. The crumbling can cause a very painful and potentially cause a lot of harm.

When nail fungus goes untreated it can cause a serious infection and sometimes be very hard to find a proper treatment. There are a lot of medications on the market but it can take awhile to find the one that works for you.
