When a person has an area that has a warm, moist skin, you can bet that there will be candidiasis infections on the skin. Cutaneous Candidiasis is usually caused by a fungus known as candida, which is a yeast based infection to your skin.
Naturally fungi live on the external area of your skin. A moldy type fungus help to cause a yeast infection.
This condition is very common and can attach any skin area throughout your body, but it usually only occurs in the moist, warm, creases, or folded areas of skin such as:
- armpits
- groin
- buttocks
- genitals
- skin folds on your stomach
- underneath your breasts
There are numerous symptoms that cutaneous candidiasis may cause such as:
- scaling
- itching
- red rash
- burning
- increasing rash
- folliculitis
- reddening of the skin
- inflammation of the skin
- white fluid oozing
- blisters
All these symptoms can be due to hot, humid weather, poor hygiene, and also wearing clothing that is too tight.
