What are the Symptoms of Skin Fungus?

There are various symptoms that a person might experience when they have a skin fungus. Most skin fungus infections usually first appear in the form of a rash. 

- A ringworm is usually pink or red, ring-shaped, itchy areas of skin. The center of a ringworm is typically clear. 

- Jock itch will appear within the groin area, with a red rash that looks like a ring. This blister type rash is painful, small, and very itchy. 

- Athlete’s foot appears between your toes and on the bottom of your foot. It is a scaly type rash and is very itchy. 

- Some skin fungus will make your skin crack and start peeling. Your skin is generally sore. 

- When your child has a scalp ringworm let it be known that it can be highly contagious. If a person has a nail ringworm, the nail will appear to be thickened and dull in color. 

Candida is a common infection that is found in the fold of your skin or in the diaper areas, where it is warm and moist. The skin will appear to be red where it is infected.
