- oral medications
- Penicillium griseofulvin
- cytoplasmic microtubules
The usual dosage for these treatments is usually aroudn 10MG but can be changed if it is not working. The doctor will require follow up visits to observe how the treatment is working for either Tinea Capitis or Microsporum. The doctor usually starts treatment right away once it is confirmed that the patient has one of those conditions. After the treatment has been started and the signs seem to still be there after a weeks then the doctor will either up the dosage of the treatment or switch and find another treatment that the patient can use.
