What Type of Treatments are there for Ringworm?

Is there a red, itchy patch on your body that will not go away? Does it appear in the shape of a circle? If so, you are probably dealing with ringworm. They are not as bad as what they sound like, even though they can be very itchy and painful. If you are suffering from a ringworm you will be happy to know that there are numerous ways to treat them.

There are various home remedies available that you can try first. Baking soda and water is a great start. Simply make a paste and apply it to the effected area. Then once it dries, just wipe it off. You can continue to repeat this process throughout the day, until you have noticed that the fungus has disappeared. It is important that you continue with the treatment until it is completely gone.

Repeat this process several times a day until the fungus is gone. You can do the same with vinegar, and many people have reported success by using nail polish for this purpose. The important thing is that you continue treating the ringworm until it is gone.

If you have tried numerous home remedies, and nothing has seemed to help consult with your physician so that he or she might can prescribe you a medication that is stronger.
